Top 5 Navigation and Maps Apps on iOS in Bahrain: Q2 2022

In Q2 2022, Bahrain's top navigation and maps applications on the iOS platform exhibited diverse trends in downloads and user activity. Data from Sensor Tower reveals the performance of the leading five apps in this category.

Google Maps experienced a steady increase in weekly downloads, starting from approximately 1.5K in late March and peaking at around 2.1K in early May. The app maintained a consistent download rate throughout the quarter, with minor fluctuations, closing June with nearly 2K downloads per week.

Google Earth demonstrated a modest but notable increase in weekly downloads. Starting with 147 downloads in late March, the app saw a peak of 330 downloads in the second week of May. The download numbers remained relatively stable through June, ending the quarter with around 191 downloads per week.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic had a more fluctuating download trend. The app started with 125 downloads in late March, surged to 403 downloads in mid-May, and then stabilized, ending June with approximately 178 downloads per week.

JESR | جسر showed significant spikes in downloads, particularly in early May with 347 downloads and mid-May with 277 downloads. The app's download numbers varied throughout the quarter, finishing June with around 117 downloads per week.

HUD Widgets displayed a unique pattern with almost no downloads until early June. The app then saw a sharp increase, peaking at over 1K downloads in mid-June, before settling down to approximately 268 downloads per week by the end of the quarter.
